Meet Dr. Margaret Hostage
Dr. Meg Hostage grew up in Potomac, Maryland before relocating to California to complete her undergraduate degree and dental training. She received an athletic scholarship to attend Stanford University, where she competed for the women’s varsity diving team. While at Stanford, she completed her degree in Human Biology and earned recognition as a five-time All-American, Pac-10 Diver of the Year, and 2008 Olympic Trials qualifier.
Dr. Hostage earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco, graduating with honors, Dean’s List distinction, and as a member of the Tau Kappa Omega and Phi Kappa Phi Honor Societies. She then completed her orthodontic residency at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, where she also earned a Master of Medical Sciences (MMSc) degree. Throughout her training, she was actively involved in clinical research, with her work earning recognition from both the Harvard School of Dental Medicine and the California Dental Association.
Dr. Hostage enjoys providing comprehensive orthodontic care to patients of all ages. She has experience with Phase I (early interceptive) treatment for young children and offers full orthodontic care for both adolescents and adults. She has extensive clinical experience using Invisalign® to treat a wide range of aesthetic and functional concerns and particularly enjoys the precision it offers in digitally designing personalized treatment plans. Her clinical experience also includes working with patients experiencing TMJ dysfunction and those seeking dental sleep appliances for obstructive sleep apnea.
Outside of the office, Dr. Hostage enjoys playing tennis, running, and spending time outdoors with her husband, daughter, and their two dogs, Riggs and Potato. After many years living in the Boston Seaport, her family is excited to call the Andover community home.
